Binita Anand, a passionate leader in lighting and social impact, boasts a diverse career. Co-founding Purnkuti 12 years ago, she ignited positive change in underprivileged communities by upskilling and improving education. Now, Binita's entrepreneurial drive shines through Luminova, offering cutting-edge lighting and automation solutions for Indian customers. Her academic background in science and business management fuels her expertise and commitment to excellence.
Prashant Kumar
Co-Founder & CEO
Prashant, a veteran in the lighting industry with 23 years of experience, unifies a unique blend of engineering expertise and marketing prowess. Launching his career at Philips India, he went on to navigate the Middle East market, leading the expansion of British manufacturer Mode Lighting. Recognized for his astute business acumen, Prashant excels at building and motivating teams to achieve ambitious goals. His deep understanding of light and lighting control systems, honed through years of hands-on experience, fuels his innovative approach to industry challenges.
Debabrata Sarkhel
Co-Founder & Head of Design
Debabrata is Science Graduate and legend of Lighting. 30+ years experience in lighting. Managing projects– End-to-end solution provider; Interacting with the Clients, End-user, Architects & Electrical Consultants. Explaining the ideas behind the concept of lighting and visualizations of lighting application. Having a thorough knowledge in Lighting Design for indoor, road & outdoor area, especially in software DIALUX latest version and working knowledge of AutoCAD & Photoshop.
Joby Joseph
Co-Founder & Head of Projects
Joby, a seasoned project management expert with 24 years of experience, has led hundreds of successful projects across India and the Middle East. His expertise spans from lighting control systems to GRMS, AV, home automation, and diverse electronics environments. A meticulous planner and team leader, Joby prioritizes quality service and on-time delivery, making him a trusted partner for success.
Trilok Prakash Gupta
Co-Founder & Head of Sales
Trilok, a Commerce Graduate with a Diploma in Systems Management, boasts over 25 years of experience in the manufacturing and marketing of Acoustic and Interior Products. Trilok has successfully fostered relationships with key clients such as Tata Motors, RHI Magnesita India Refractories, Asahi India Glass, and Thermax India. etc. showcasing a proven track record in client cultivation and management. His deep knowledge of the Pan-Indian market and interior products are great asset.
Debananda Tripathy
Co-founder & Head of International Business
Deb is an engineer by qualification. He started his career in Lighting Components with Vossloh Schwabe. In his 24 years of career, he gained expertise in Lighting, Lighting Control, and lighting components. He has worked with PHILIPS, Lutron, Leuenberger, Fulham, etc. He is also the founder of Dubai-based PowerLED Middle-East and handling the complete Middle-East market. He is a veteran of International lighting markets, business strategy, and channel management.
Sachin Khondapure
Vice President-Sales
Sachin is a seasoned Sales and Supply Chain Management professional with over 24 years of proven expertise in OEM sales, Key Account Management, and Supply Chain Operations within the Lighting, Pump Sets, and Switchgear Industries. He has successfully led teams and driven results throughout his career, spending 8 impactful years as Head of Supply Chain Management, Senior Manager of Key Accounts and Business Development at Fulham India, over 4 years as SCM Manager at Kirloskar Oil Engines, and 12 years as Head of Sales at Suguna Group of Industries. His impressive track record demonstrates his ability to deliver exceptional outcomes and foster strong business relationships.
